Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 May 2026

Draft — These terms of service are pending final legal review and are not yet effective for public launch.

1. Who we are

Bookify is a booking and business management platform operated by Bookify S.à r.l., a company registered in Luxembourg. By accessing or using Bookify, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

2. Services

Bookify provides software-as-a-service tools for service businesses ("Studio Owners") to manage bookings, clients, payments and operations. Consumer-facing marketplace pages allow end customers ("Consumers") to discover and book services.

Account provisioning: Studio accounts are not self-serve. All business accounts are provisioned manually by the Bookify team after a demo call. There is no public registration for businesses.

Support chat: Support conversations conducted through the in-dashboard chat may be saved for quality improvement and dispute resolution purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Luxembourg or EU law
  • Attempt to access systems, accounts, or data you are not authorised to access
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the platform
  • Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content through the platform
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

4. Payments and deposits

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. on our behalf. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Bookify never stores full card details.

Deposits paid by Consumers at booking are held until the appointment. Refund eligibility is governed by the individual Studio Owner's cancellation policy, which is displayed before payment. Bookify is not liable for disputes between Studio Owners and Consumers.

5. Intellectual property

All software, design, trademarks and content on the Bookify platform belong to Bookify S.à r.l. or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Studio Owners retain ownership of their client data, booking records, and business content uploaded to the platform.

6. Data and privacy

Your use of the platform is governed by our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by temporary unavailability.

8. Termination

Bookify may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with reasonable notice except in cases of severe breach. Studio Owners may request account deletion at any time, subject to our data retention obligations under GDPR.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Luxembourg law, Bookify's liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg City.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active Studio Owners by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.
