Terms & Conditions
The contract between you and Bookify when you use our platform.
Last updated: 2026-04-15
1. Who we are
Bookify (the “Service”, “we”, “us”) is operated from Luxembourg and provides software that lets independent businesses publish a booking page, manage their calendar, accept payments, run a point-of-sale, and communicate with their clients. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Bookify.
By creating an account, accessing the dashboard at pro.bookify.lu, or using any public page on bookify.lu, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
2. Two kinds of users
Bookify is used by two distinct audiences. Different sections of these Terms apply depending on which one you are.
- Business users are studios, salons, restaurants, medical practices, and other professionals who use Bookify to run their operations.
- Clients are members of the public who book a service through a business listed on Bookify.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Business users must be acting on behalf of a legally registered business and have the authority to bind that business.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for every action taken through your account. Notify us at support@bookify.lu as soon as you suspect any unauthorised use.
5. Subscriptions and billing (business users)
Paid plans are described on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details on our servers.
You can cancel at any time from Settings > Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
If a payment fails, we may suspend your account and your public booking page until the balance is settled. We will notify you before any suspension.
6. Bookings (clients)
When you book through Bookify, the contract for the service is between you and the business that provides it. Bookify acts only as the booking and payment intermediary. The business is responsible for the quality, safety, and execution of the service.
Cancellation, no-show, deposit and refund rules are set by the business. They are displayed before you confirm a booking.
7. Payments processed through Bookify
When a business uses Bookify to charge deposits, accept online payments, or run point-of-sale transactions, those funds are collected by Stripe under the business's connected account. Bookify does not hold client funds. Payouts are governed by Stripe's terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal or fraudulent;
- Upload content that infringes a third party's rights;
- Attempt to access another business's data, scrape the platform, or overload our infrastructure;
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service except where local law expressly permits it.
Additional rules for the kind of content you may publish are set out in our Content Policy.
9. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the content you upload (logos, photos, descriptions, client lists, sales records). You grant Bookify a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you.
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Service availability
We work hard to keep Bookify available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may run scheduled maintenance, push emergency fixes, or temporarily limit features. We will not be liable for downtime caused by force majeure or by services we depend on (hosting, payment processors, telecom networks).
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, engages in fraud, or harms other users. Where reasonable we will give you notice and a chance to fix the issue. You may close your account at any time by writing to support@bookify.lu.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by Luxembourg law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid to Bookify in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example, gross negligence or wilful misconduct).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date counts as acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg City, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live.
